MYSTERIOUS LETTER THREATENS VIOLENCE UNLESS SAN ANDREAS BOMBER IS RELEASED

VINEWOOD, SAN ANDREAS — A chilling letter received by the Vinewood Journal this morning has prompted immediate concern from law enforcement and the public alike. The note, typed on aged parchment and lined as though ripped from a journal, was addressed “To those in charge,” and issued a stark ultimatum:

“We are not afraid to destroy everything or anyone that stands in our way. Release Lawrence Benjamin or more cops and people will die. You Have Been Warned!”

The letter’s demand centers around the recent arrest and incarceration of 27-year-old Lawrence Jamarkis Benjamin, a convicted felon currently serving a 185-month sentence at Bolingbroke Penitentiary. Benjamin was taken into custody after a high-speed pursuit that spanned multiple counties and involved both ground and aerial law enforcement units.

According to the arrest report filed by Senior Sergeant Andrew Murphy of the San Andreas Highway Patrol, Benjamin was clocked at over 130 MPH while engaging in a motor vehicle contest with two other motorcycles. The ensuing chase lasted nearly an hour and ended when Benjamin, wearing only underwear, fled from a safehouse and was ultimately struck by a passing vehicle on the Elysian Fields Freeway while attempting to evade arrest on foot.

Once in custody, Benjamin was found in possession of a combat pistol despite his status as a felon with previous charges including terrorism and use of explosives. During booking, he reportedly assaulted an officer by attempting to smear human waste on their face.

Benjamin pleaded guilty to all charges, including aggravated assault, felony evading, and illegal firearm possession. Evidence including his motorcycle and weapon is currently being held at SAHP Post 1.

Law enforcement agencies have not publicly confirmed the legitimacy of the threat letter or whether it is being formally classified as terrorism-related. However, sources close to the investigation have indicated that state and federal authorities are reviewing its origin and potential ties to organized criminal elements.

The Vinewood Journal has forwarded the original letter to authorities and is cooperating fully with ongoing investigations.

Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement. UPDATE: Newly uncovered records confirm that Lawrence Benjamin is not only a repeat offender but also a convicted domestic terrorist and known murderer. In a prior 2024 case, Benjamin held a hostage at gunpoint, threatened to detonate a bomb vest, and placed timed explosives at a crowded city intersection. He later confessed to the crimes, stating he “absolutely did it and had fun.” His extensive criminal history, including charges of attempted murder and terrorism, solidifies his reputation as a dangerous threat to the state of San Andreas. This revelation raises serious concerns about the motivations behind the threat letter and who may be orchestrating efforts to secure Benjamin’s release. Reporter’s Note:

I’ve covered gang threats, political scandals, and high-profile court cases—but there’s something different about this. The way the letter arrived… the deliberate calm in its wording… and the silence that’s followed.

Whoever sent this isn’t just angry. They’re organized. And they’re watching.

We’ll keep reporting. But as the sun sets on Vinewood tonight, I can’t shake the feeling that this is just the beginning.

This is a developing story.
