Major Davis Turns Heads with Unconventional Uniform During EOD Training Near HP Post 1

In an unexpected twist to the usually polished appearance of the San Andreas Highway Patrol, Major D’Adrian Davis made headlines last night after being spotted in a notably relaxed outfit during a specialized Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) training near HP Post 1.

Known for his squared-away look complete with the traditional campaign hat and sharp-pressed uniform Major Davis' casual, utility-style attire had many troopers and passersby doing double takes. Ditching the usual highway patrol getup, Davis appeared in what resembled a more tactical, sheriff-style ensemble, blending comfort and practicality in a training-heavy environment.

“He looked like a whole different kind of lawman out there,” remarked one off-duty trooper who observed the scene. “It’s not every day you see one of our top brass out of uniform, especially looking like he’s ready to rope cattle or breach a door.”

The outfit choice reportedly matched the nature of the training, which required mobility, protection, and adaptability in a high-risk EOD scenario. Insiders say the Major was overseeing and partially participating in the hands-on explosive response drills that simulate real-world hazards officers may face on duty.

While it’s unclear if this laid-back look is a one-time occasion or a preview of new tactical field attire being considered for certain divisions, it certainly sparked discussion among the department and community alike.

Whether he’s in full formal or field gear, Major Davis continues to lead from the front—uniform or not.
